The creative imagination which flows through Linda Ellis, author of the phenomenally successful poem The Dash, has arisen not from a deep think tank of genius inspiration but from an everyday person.  Ellis grew up in the United States, first a school child among other school children, then a student preparing for her life and career along with thousands of others.  Ellis worked in corporate America in the most metropolitan city in the world, New York City.
