Laura Motes

Laura Motes was born and raised in Elberton, Georgia. She attended Georgia Southern University, and received a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Management Information Systems in 1992. She has spent twenty-one years with Athens-Clarke County Police Department, and she is currently preparing to start nursing school. In her free time, she likes to hike around the trails, kayak, canoe, and fish. She finds that spending time outdoors helps her relax after stressful days at work.
