My research interests fall into the broad categories of economic development, political theory, transportation and public policy. I am currently working on a dissertation that explores how subsidies and incentives are used to encourage property development near public transport investments in Australia and the United States and to document the institutional challenges that surround the implementation of transit-oriented development in both countries.
