I am a graduate student pursuing a Ph.D. in Learning Sciences and Learning Environment Design in the Department of Teaching and Learning at the Peabody College of Education in Vanderbilt University. My interests are:

• designing video games as tools for math and science learning,
• emergent systems thinking through video games,
• use of scientific artifacts in teaching and learning mathematics,

• classical education as a paradigm for schooling
