An Assistant Professor in French language at the French Department of Paris 12 University (UPEC), I'm working on the concept of "mediation" in the second language classroom. How can teachers and learners, considered as mediators in the process of transmission of knowledge, can work together for a more efficient result? I am trying to hightlight not solely the linguistic but also the sociological aspect of the teacher-learners and peer to peer interactions in the language classroom.
