Dr Kewal Krishan is a forensic anthropologist and presently serving at Panjab University, Chandigarh, India. He published more than 65 research articles in international journals of repute. He is on the panel of editors and editorial board of more than 30 journals of international repute. He is also on the reviewer board of more than 42 national/international journals and reviewed more than 150 research articles. He contributed two invited chapters to the most coveted Encyclopedia of Forensic Sciences published by Elsevier, 2013. His articles have been published in reputed journals of medical and forensic sciences like Forensic Science International, International journal of Legal Medicine, American Journal of Forensic Medicine and Pathology, American Journal of Human Biology, Journal of Forensic Sciences, Singapore Medical Journal, Journal of Forensic and Legal Medicine, Legal Medicine (Tokyo), Medicine Science and The law, Journal of Foot and Ankle Research, Medical Hypotheses, Journal of Forensic Nursing, Bioscience Hypotheses, Journal of Forensic Odonto-Stomatology, Journal of Renal Nutrition, HOMO, American journal of Human Biology and so on. His research has been cited by more than 950 studies in the scientific literature. He is a member of 18 international and national professional societies including Midwest Bioarchaeology and Forensic Anthropology Association (BARFAA), European Anthropological Association (EAA), American Association of Physical Anthropology, The Science Advisory Board USA, American Society of Forensic Podiatry (ASFP), National Academy of Sciences India (NASI), International Association of Identification (IAI), USA. He has been regularly presenting his new research in American Academy of Forensic Sciences Meeting and International association of Identification conference in USA.  He has also been awarded Elsevier Top Cited Award for an article in the Journal of Forensic and Legal Medicine.
