After a many years in bookstore management, I returned to school for an MBA and an MLS to launch a new career in academic library administration. I enjoy collection management, strategic planning and budget administration. I'm particularly interested in comprehensive development of interdepartmental projects and services.

I am open to unexpected opportunities but the current plan is to continue my career in academic libraries. My short-term goal is to direct a small to medium-sized library or be an associate director or department head at a large research library.

My practical focus has shifted from collection development to technical services, but my true emphasis has always been interdisciplinary.
