D. Kealiʻi MacKenzie
Kealiʻi is a masters student and librarian of mixed Kanaka Maoli descent who was born and raised in Western Massachusetts. Currently enrolled in the Masters of Pacific Island Studies Program at the University of Hawai‘at Mānoa he received his Master of Library and Information Science in December 2012. His research interests include: Hawaiian and Indigenous librarianship; digital divide in Oceania, Indigenous organization and knowledge systems; as well as poetry and literature in the Pacific region. He is also a poet whose work appears in ‘Ōiwi: A Native Hawaiian Journal, Mauri Ola: Contemporary Polynesian Poetry in English (Whetu Moana, Volume II), Radius Lit, and Yellow Medicine Review.
