I am a nurse practitioner educator and sociologist in private consulting practice. Previous faculty appointments included serving as Professor & Faculty Development Coordinator for the Samuel Merritt University School of Nursing; and as Associate Director of the MGH Institute of Health Professions Nursing Programs.  My research interests include: nursing history, health care policy, interprofessional health professions education, care of vulnerable populations and community health. I am a trend watcher in health care and a fan of open access  health care information and dissemination globally.
