1999 - 2001 West Kootenay Economic Development Society. Nelson B.C. Served on fund raising and program review committees and as chair of this grassroots economic development project based on the work of Ernesto Sirolli.
1994 - 2000 Lake Street School/Nelson Independent School Association. (NISA). Served on the board of NISA in as fund raising, teacher review and evaluation, and four years as chair of the NISA board of this alternative junior high school.
1992 - 1994 Building Partnerships. Served as parent member on a team of parent/teacher/administrator delivering B.C. Ministry of Education workshops on developing collaboration in schools.
1990 - 1993 Parent Advisory Council, Redfish Elementary School. Nelson B.C. Served as chair for three years, as well as coordinating playground construction, parent teacher liaison, and district parent advisory council representative.
