Joe Bouthillier is the Director of Underwriting, Business Development at Coastal Insurance Underwriters, Inc., a leading program administrator that provides underwriting, highly customizable policy systems, financial reporting, agency relations and management, product marketing, and coordination of claims handling. Joe is responsible for assisting in creating and implementing new programs, including program design, marketing and training. He was instrumental in introducing Coastal's first suite of personal lines products, which have been successful in selling over seven thousand policies in the first six months through over 200 newly appointed agencies.

Joe has over twelve years experience in the insurance industry and three years experience in consulting. While attending college, he worked in the retail sales and the hospitality field, which allowed him to be active in a business environment while pursuing his degree. This opportunity provided him with increased independence and the ability to foster entrepreneurial and leadership skills at an early age.
