I am in the Bioinformatics and Genomics department at UNCC. I have both wet-lab and computational research interests. In the past 5-6 years my group has generated and worked with microarray data, with special emphasis on analysis that includes biophysical properties that influence interpretataion of the intensity values. In addition to highly controlled experiments with synthetic mixtures my group collaborates with physicians working on ovarian cancer, ALS, and spinal degeneration in humans.
