I am a research fellow at the Centre for Excellence in Policing and Security (based at the Australian National University in Canberra), investigating regulatory approaches to security risk assessment for aviation security.  My in-progress (candidature presently suspended) PhD thesis investigates the reception, incorporation and employment of information operations (IO) by the Australian Defence Force (ADF) from the end of the Cold War to the present.
