I'm an ABD graduate student in Folklore at Indiana University. My interests are fairly diverse, but are typically narrative-based and center on the supernatural, myth, religion and belief. My dissertation deals with supernatural belief in contemporary Ireland.

Another area of interest is the intersection between scholarly and popular thinking on various aspects of expressive culture. I am currently working with various pop culture and digital media materials and exploring popular versus scholarly understandings of folklore portrayed within them.
