Not long ago, one of my daughter's middle-school teachers said that my daughter was spending a great deal of time on her phone during class. As a mother, this was concerning. However, I wasn't surprised. I am a doctor and filmmaker who devoted my time to create the documentary "Screenagers: Growing up in the Digital Age" just because I understand how strongly tech tempts childhood and how confused we are as a society on what to do about that.
