The project aims at an integrative upgrading and innovation intervention in the problems of the area of Sao Benedito, a "consolidated" favela in the center of the city of Vitória, Espirito Santo, Brasil, by addressing different levels of development at housing, public space and community level, with a multi-disciplinary perspective. The work is supported by the DAAD project "Housing-Manufacturing-Water: Improving the living conditions of the urban poor" with integrated PIV offered by our colleagues from the PTZ (Production Engineering Center) FG Siedlungswasserwirtschaftand (Water Engineering from the Institut für Bauingenieurwesen).
