Race and the Law- The Maryland Experience
The purpose of this Seminar at the Univeristy of Maryland School of Law is to examine in depth Maryland Court Cases related to the struggle for civil rights, including free speech, labor relations, housing, recreation, education, and accommodations. Participants in the seminar will be given court cases to probe in the context of the law, the times, and personalities involved, including the lawyers, the judges, and the juries (if applicable and the records have survived).
