The Rockefeller Archive Center (RAC) is a repository of historical materials and a research center dedicated to the study of philanthropy and the many domains supported by foundations and individual donors. Located in Sleepy Hollow, NY, the RAC preserves the archives of over forty organizations and one hundred individuals. Hundreds of researchers from around the world visit annually to work in RAC collections. Their research topics range from the history of medicine, science, and public health to the arts, agriculture, social sciences, urban affairs, and public policy. Managing editor Lee Hiltzik and RAC staff seek to maintain a comprehensive bibliography of the articles, books, and dissertations that are based in part on work conducted at the Archive Center.
