This library is intended as a place for exchange of references relevant to the research interests of the Postcommunist Visual Culture and Cinema network.
The aim of PCVC&C is to form a global network of people who have a common interest in visual representations of former communist countries. The group focuses on methodology and the interdisciplinary study of cultural production, primarily related to the visual arts. The objective is to launch a productive dialogue between scholars engaged in the study of film and visual cultures of disperse countries like Vietnam, Cuba, Angola and the former Eastern Bloc.
