Details of the assignment

Write an analysis of US policy towards LATIN AMERICA.

You will work together, studying background material on the history of the nation/zone, and American aims and relations with it. You will also research current news and analysis current developments in this relationship, in your region/nation, and also debates about US policy towards it.

You will write collectively a presentation to make to the class and individually write up a longer analytical brief based on your research.

You will also submit the notes for your collective presentation and a research ‘scrapbook’ of all the materials you used.

You will also all write a few notes assessing the contribution to the thinking and effort of the team by each of the other members.
