This is a group/collection of papers that compare different methods of measuring indicators for ecosystem monitoring.

The goals of this group are to:

• create a resource that we can point people to for understanding how methods compare to each other
• understand different approaches to evaluating the performance, precision, repeatability of different monitoring methods
• understand the different factors that influence the results of method comparison studies

The papers in this group/collection should eventually make their way onto the Landscape Toolbox website, and may be the background research for developing a paper/proposal for documentation, validation, and benchmarking of monitoring methods.
