MarineLives is an innovative academic-public history organization coordinating the community transcription, enrichment, and analysis of manuscripts from the archives of the English High Court of Admiralty, 1650-1669. The end product will be a publicly and freely available online academic edition under a CC by 3.0 licence. It is run as a not-for-profit organisation.
