Human navigation, specifically wayfinding (in the sense of Montello, 2005), can be supported by maps. This is usual for sighted people. When it comes to blind people, special cognitive requirements - aside from the sensoric requirements - have to be met. In this group references to wayfinding, cognitive science, psychology, mobility research and adjacent areas that touch some aspects of maps for visually impaired persons will be collected. Apply for membership if you are interested to contribute and gain from the exchange with scholars and researchers.
