This bibliographic initiative both continues and elaborates on the older project Renaissance Linguistics Archive (RLA), that aimed at establishing a comprehensive database of secondary sources covering the linguistic ideas developed by Renaissance scholars in Europe (1350-1700). The present group library, covering the historiography of linguistics between 1350 and 1800, contains several folders, the contents of which are described at c-h-l.be/archive. Scholars are invited to share their bibliographic references.
