The Lakeland Community Heritage Project (Lakeland CHP) is dedicated to preserving, recording and sharing the rich past of the Lakeland community, a century old African American community of College Park, Maryland. We have recently completed a book, “Lakeland: African-Americans in College Park” with Arcadia Publishing.
