JovenTIC is a research group based in Catalonia. The main goal of JovenTIC research group is to study the uses, approaches and consumption that young people make of information and communication technologies (ICT). We are therefore interested in the  meanings that young people collectively construct around these activities and their relation with the performance of identities, specially gendered identities.

At the same time we give special importance to the reflection on the methodologies used in the study of the new virtual and non-virtual spaces related to ICT.
