This group complies articles on replacement stone used in the conservation and repair of historic stone in architecture, monuments and sculpture. Finding suitable replacement stone can be a challenge. Historic quarries are often exhausted, inaccessible, or inactive. This group focuses on these and related research challenges within the larger context of our global Heritage in Stone and Stone Conservation.
