Thursday, April 10 12:30-1:30pm
Bobst Library Media Viewing Room, 5th floor west wing
Disappointed with the results of your latest egosurf? Want to have more control over how you appear online? Bring a lunch and join panelists Bryan Waterman, Associate Professor of English at NYU-AD, Jacob Gaboury, PhD Candidate in Media, Culture & Communication, and moderator Zach Coble, Digital Scholarship Specialist at NYU, for a discussion on crafting your online professional presence. The discussion will mix practical tips on creating a professional website, using Twitter and other social media tools, as well as a critical look at the larger issues of privacy and surveillance.
