This group covers the interdisciplinary preservation of archaeological and cultural materials, such as rock art, wall paintings and mosaics. Concerns treatments and research, including scientific methods of conservation documentation, examination, analysis, and practice. Also includes advances in understanding the technology, history, trade and origins of archaeological and ethnographic materials.
