With the diffusion and ubiquity of video comes not only the need to reflect its cultural status anew, i.e. beyond the "YouTube revolution"; but acknowledge video itself also as a new foundational format of theoretical reflection, as it has become an available tool of expression to a wider community of critical minds and part o the social intellect. 'After.Video' therefore wants to build a theory series not only reflecting on the multiple disseminations and hybridizations of video with the general cultural and social fabric, but also wants to feature video as central format of theoretical expression.
