Greg Shine

I'm public historian who is particularly interested in the intersection of history and digital media.

Professionally, I'm the chief ranger and historian for the National Park Service (NPS) at Fort Vancouver NHS, the historian for the NPS Northwest Cultural Resources Institute, and adjunct faculty in the history department at Portland State University (PSU). As such, I manage the interpretation, education, media & public history programs for the NPS at Fort Vancouver and I teach public history (historic site interpretation) for PSU.
