I am a professor of political science and public policy at the Brazilian School of Public and Business Administration at the Fundação Getúlio Vargas (EBAPE/FGV) Rio de Janeiro. My research focuses on issues of transparency and public policy, the role of the news media in policy and politics and legislative-presidential politics. I completed a BA at McGill University, Montreal, and an MA in Latin American Studies and a PhD in International Relations and Comparative Politics at the University of Texas at Austin.
