I lead the Remote Sensing Group (RSG). The RSG is now part of the Helmholtz Institute Freiberg for Resource Technology since 2013 and of the TU Bergakademie in Freiberg since 2003. My main objectives are the quantitative and nonlinear analysis of remote sensing data. Currently we are working on the surface expressions of neotectonics, hydrological modelling and the fusion of POLInSAR and Hyperspectral data for the estimation of vegetation physical properties.We have now also started to work on the exploration  of mineral resources and the monitoring of its extraction.
