Alex Chaucer

Alex is an Instructional Technologist currently growing the GIS Center for Interdisciplinary Research at Skidmore College, overseeing all activities and supervising a student staff of 6 (seven years). Previously a teaching faculty and Education Operations Coordinator on a NASA Grant focusing on education and workforce development in geospatial technology (four years). He is also a NYS certified Earth Science teacher, has designed and taught an advanced high school program called New Visions Geospatial (two years). Currently interested in technology leadership, competency-based education, digital literacy, UAVâs and digital storytelling. Alex has spoken at ELI Virtual on Digital Badging, and attended the Learning Technology Leadership Program in 2013.
