Currently working on a book about the Bible as Material Object in Cinema. Not a study on films about religion nor on films the story of which derives from the Bible, but rather films in which the Bible, Canonical Books, and Material Culture of Religion play a major role.  I am also working on a book that aims to turn on its head the hands-off-the-medium paradigm normal in film theory studies. Working title: Film Theory and the Practice of Film Making.
