Fred is passionate about digital storytelling. He taught in public schools for 17 years in Watsonville CA & now consults with schools & non-profit organizations on authentic writing. He is also a web designer, social justice advocate, and arts education activist. As Associate Director for Technology Integration with the Central California Writing Project (CCWP), he also serves as CCWP's Tech Liaison to the NWP. He is also a member of the Advistory Board to the Pajaro Valley Arts Council, a non-profit which operates a gallery at 37 Sudden St., Watsonville, CA 95076, http://pvarts.org/
