In 2012-2013 I was Project Leader of the new Digital Humanities Lab Denmark, hosted at Aarhus University, and one of the two VCC 2 task heads for DARIAH.eu. I was affiliated with the Department of Aesthetics and Communication, Faculty of Humanities, while at Aarhus (Denmark’s second largest university). Part of my role involved working with EU research infrastructures and projects.

Prior to 2012 I was an Associate Professor and the Director of Postgraduate Studies and Research at the Auckland School of Design, Massey University where I taught critical studies/design history, design research methods, and digital media.
