I received an MA in the Department of Near Eastern Languages and Cultures in Arabic language/linguistics and Islamic Studies. I am a PhD candidate in Linguistics at Indiana University.
My research focus is on Arabic phonology, particularly I am interested in the role of suprasegmental tiers in the native phonology-phonetics interface ,models of acquisition and computation of loan words in Egyptian.
