I was graduated in Art Education from USP (São Paulo University) in 1985. I got my Master's degree in Semiotic and communications from PUC-SP (Pontifical Catholic University of Sao Paulo) in 1992, and became Doctor of Philosophy in Semiotic and Communications from PUC-SP in 1997.

I've been working with Art and Visual Communication, and presently I am a teacher of Visual Language, Visual Communication, Creation and Peircean Semiotics at SENAC (National Service of Commercial Learning), and a Professor of the same subjects at UNICAMP (Campinas State University).

I'v benn writing on all of these subjecs, bur nowadays I'am also interested in the relation between videogames and culture.
