I'm a Senior Lecturer at Leeds Trinity University, having been history teacher and also (a long time ago) a lawyer.  I still have a strong interest in ICT for Learning and the digital humanities.  I have an MSc in Education Research Methods from the University of Leeds.  I have written school textbooks on Italian Unification, for students at "A Level" and on Restoration England, Crime and Punishment in Whitechapel and on London in the Second World War for students taking GCSEs.

I am the Programme Leader for the Secondary PGCE at Leeds Trinity University, a course on which I also lecture. I also teach undergraduates and post-graduates taking the MA in Education.
