David FOLIO received his Ph.D. in robotics and control in 2007. His works were held in the Robotics, Action, and Perception (RAP) group of the Laboratory for Analysis and Architecture of Systems (LAAS) under the supervision of Dr. Viviane Cadenat, associate professor at Paul Sabatier university. He has worked on the design of visual servoing strategies able to tolerate the visual data loss during the execution of a vision-based navigation mission. Between 2007 and 2008, he then joined the Lagadic team from Inria Rennes-Bretagne Atlantique center as a post-doctoral fellow. Since 2008, he is associate professor at the ENSI of Bourges (now known as INSA Centre Val de Loire)where he is teaching electronics and electrical science. He is working in the SRI team from PRISME laboratory on micro/nano-robotics fields, mainly devoted to health and biomedical applications.
