Though I'm currently seeking a Master's in Library and Information Science, I have BAs in Religion, Women's Studies, and Creative Writing.  Hopefully, I'll be headed into the PhD program in LIS next fall, focusing on LGBTQ YA literature and patrons.  

Other interests include American Protestantism, especially Evangelical groups and extremist religions; queer studies; censorship in libraries; studies of class and the rural South; Southern studies; Appalachian studies; LGBTQ representations in genre fiction
