As a designer, educator and mentor my focus is the experience of communication and the narratives that strengthen relationships between people, consumers and brands, working across a broad range of stakeholder interests.

With foundations in the photographic industry in London & Germany, I ran IFD studio with Ian Forsyth, a photographic & design studio in the Clerkenwell area of London working with FMCG projects, packaging and brand campaigns.

With a 1st class BA Hons and an MA in Fine Art from Central Saint Martins, I have long term experience of creative arts education, the realities of managing a successful London studio and the fluid creative requirements of being a practicing designer over three decades.
 


Working in Higher Education since 2000, Course leading Graphic design, Fashion, Advertising and Creative management programmes, overseeing enterprise, marketing, recruitment and quality, I am Head of Design & Communication in the School of Art, Design & Media at UWL.
