catherine raissiguier
Catherine Raissiguier completed her undergraduate education in France and holds a M.A. in Women’s Studies/American Studies and a Ph.D. in Comparative and International Education from the State University of New York at Buffalo. She is the author of Reinventing the Republic: Gender, Migration, and Citizenship in France (Stanford University Press, 2010) and Becoming Women/Becoming Workers: Identity Formation in a French High School (SUNY Press, 1994). Dr. Raissiguierhas taught Women’s and Gender Studies at SUNY/Buffalo, the University of Michigan, Middlebury College, University of Oregon, Oregon State University, the University of Cincinnati, and New Jersey City University. She is currently Professor and Chair of Women and Gender Studies at Hunter College.
