Automatic continuous online monitoring of polymerization (ACOMP) is a technique that allows real-time monitoring of polymerization reactions, and during synthesis characterization of the resulting polymers. I use the ACOMP system to study stimuli-responsive polymers, with an emphasis on characterization of polymer molecular weight and copolymer composition.
