Christopher Kullenberg (Ph.D.) is a theorist of science at the University of Gothenburg. He is currently doing research on citizen science in the four-year project Taking Science to the Crowd. His main interests lie in understanding citizen science as an emerging form of research that expands both the methodological horizon of scientific inquiry as well as it enables new forms of participation and involvement outside the conventional institutional boundaries of academic work.
