My goal is to bridge the traditional divide between theoretical and anthropologically-driven approaches to Language, particularly in the context of heteroglossia, urban speech communities and Hiphop Culture.

My relevant studies include lectures, seminars, workshops and presentations in: Theoretical and Historical Linguistics, Germanic Historical Linguistics, Semantics, Advanced Syntactic Theory, Phonetics/Phonology, Theory of Computation, Structuralist and Pragmatic approaches to Linguistic Anthropology and Speech Communities, Pedagogical Linguistics (emphasis on Japanese), German, French, Japanese and Chinese Language, and the Linguistic and Cultural Anthropology of Hiphop.
