The Centre on Human Rights in Conflict (CHRC) is an interdisciplinary centre based at the School of Law and Social Sciences, University of East London, United Kingdom. The CHRC engages in research and organises events aimed at developing greater knowledge about the relationship between human rights and conflict.

The CHRC is composed of members of the School of Law and Social Sciences with an extensive experience in research on the areas of international law, international human rights, conflict and development, Islamic law, land law and law and policy of the Middle East.

The work of the CHRC draws upon the unique expertise of the staff at the University of East London, and the unique position of the university itself, and offering insights for the London-based policy community and beyond.
