Charles R. Dyer
After degrees in philosphy, law, and library and informaiton science, I was a law professor and law librarian for 13 years, including directing the Law Library at the University of Missouri-Kansas City, 1977-87. From 1987-2005, I directed the San Diego County Public Law Library. I retired in 2005, to begin research into how we come to understand legal discourse, and into law, language, and logic generally. This led me to cognitive linguistics, cognitive science, and neuroscience. I just completed a bibliographic essay on cognitive linguistics for law librarians and legal researchers, publication forthcoming. My interest in Zotero is to extend that work once it is published. Those interested in seeinf it before publication can write me. I also work with the Self Represented Litigation Network, which is maintained by the National Center for State Courts, and I consult with court systems and law and public libraries, primarily on working with self represented litigants and on language access issues.
