Research and teaching in geophysics and tectonics. Current primary interests: geoid and flexural isostasy of continental lithosphere; Andes, Western United States, Southeast Asia, Zagros. Previous studies: geomorphic models, plate tectonc motions, marine magnetic anomalies, Pb/Pb isotopic interpretation of island ocean basalts. Etc.
